It is with regret that, in view of the current Covid19 situation, Menstrie Bowling Club Committee has taken the difficult decision to Cancel the upcoming Kerry Pairs Competition.
It wasn’t an easy decision to make but Member’s and Visitor’s health and wellbeing had to take precedence and so it was felt that in the current climate there was no option but to cancel!
The Bar will be open 1pm until 6pm –
Please remember to adhere to the current Covid19 rules and don’t forget your mask 😷
The weather held fair and dry as the Club continued with their latest round of Saturday Competitions.
Up for contention this week was a Singles Competition sponsored by Collier Garden Services, which brought together a good entry of members trying to claim the accolade of winner.
After battling through some tough games, the two players who went on to contest the final were Mitchell Wilson and Robert Scott.
Mitchell has had a fine spell of late winning previously in the Saturday competitions but on this occasion had to settle for second best as Robert finished off a day of fine bowling to claim his place as winner by a couple of shots. Congratulations go to Robert on a fine win.
The club would once again like to thank our club Secretary, Alistair Collier, for his organising of the day and his generous sponsorship and support of Menstrie Bowling Club.

Another fine day on the Green as the first trophy of the season was up for grabs.
