I hope you all enjoyed the football match last night, good to have something to celebrate for those of us who have followed and supported Scotland for many years!!!

Thanks again for those of you who popped in last night to purchase a beer or two to take home, especially those who chose Carling as their drink of choice!!!

***There is still some Carling left at £1 a pint***

We do have plastic pint tumblers with lids for those who prefer them to the 4pt plastic containers !

Ashley will be opening for your takeaway;

Saturday 14th November 5pm – 6pm & Sunday 15th November. 12noon – 1pm

Stay Safe and Have a great weekend!

Sorry this is a bit late but Thanks to all those of you who came along tonight to take advantage of the 2litre Takeaway.

Ashley will open again this Sunday, 8th November 1 – 2pm – Please bring your Containers back with you for £1 off your refil.

Thanks again and see you Sunday.

It looks highly unlikely that we will be open again this year and as a result we have Beer/Lager that will go out of date before then. We’ve given this some thought and in an attempt to try and empty the cellar we have purchased a number of 4 Pint Plastic containers!

Ashley will be in the Bowling Club on Thursday 5th November from 5pm to 6pm to fill the plastic containers and we will be charging £10 per 4pint container.

We will try this again over the weekend if there is interest so feedback/comments are most welcome!

Tomorrow night, 8th October will be the last night that the Bar will be open following the latest orders from the Scottish Government.

As a result we will be selling Pints for £2 (from open kegs only) We will not be opening any new kegs so when it’s gone it’s gone!!

So why not pop along for a Pint or two and watch the Scotland game before all pubs close for some weeks, (who knows how long “three weeks” could extend to!!)

Please Note – The Bar will open at 6pm and NOT 7pm as previously advertised!

The Club Pairs Final was contested over the usual 3 set format.

James Allan & Mitchell Wilson played Ian Anderson & Scott Syme.

The first two sets were shared and the game went to the final set. The first two ends were shared before James and Mitchell won the final end to take the trophy.

The final set was played in darkness which made it difficult for both pairs!

Well done to all players!

Mitchell and James showing off the Club Pairs cup!
