January has just flown by and the new season gets nearer green was cut today and treated for moss hopefully it will be in good shape come the spring .
The yearly accounts were audited by Karen Pirrie and have been approved , many thanks Karen , Calum was a great help in preparing them to be checked ,
We have a committee meeting shortly and will set a date for the AGM then hopefully the end of FEB start of March , we ran most of last year without a secretary which makes life difficult anyone interested would be much appreciated .
The key fobs are back working and ready to get handed back out , the bags have all been moved into the new locker room it would be good to get them put away in lockers so we can see what extra bags , bowls and shoes we have .
The old locker area will be used for visitor changing and painting has begun , the new doors should smarten the place up , we also invested in a new glass washer , new pint glasses that along the the replacement cellar cooler unit should keep the beer in top condition .
The Speaker night is still going ahead and James is starting to take names , the speakers are Jim Leishman and Dick Campbell two larger than life characters of Scottish football .
I am sure we will be in for and entertaining night
The club is open on Sundays 1 till 6 and has been well supported the last few weeks so why not pop in , the sheets are still on the board for the new club tops with samples to try on to get the correct sizes
